With their season opener just around the corner, Visit My Smokies is excited to announce the 2015 Dollywood Festival Schedule.

“We can always count on the friendly folks at Dollywood to host an entertaining event that families and guests will enjoy,” said a spokesperson for Visit My Smokies. “That is why we could not be happier to see them continuing this tradition with their 2015 festival schedule.”

The 2015 Dollywood festival schedule is:
Dollywood’s Festival of Nations March 21-April 20
Dollywood’s Barbeque & Bluegrass May 23-June 7
Dollywood’s Great American Summer June 13-June 2
Dollywood’s Rock the Smokies Sept. 5
Dollywood’s National Southern Gospel & Harvest Celebration Oct. 2-31
Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas Nov. 7-January 2, 2016

Dollywood will open its doors for the 2015 season on March 21, 2015 at 10 a.m. Dollywood season pass holders will get to enjoy the fun one day early on March 20.

What makes this year’s festival schedule for the popular Pigeon Forge amusement park even more exciting is the fact that this year also marks Dollywood’s 30-year anniversary. And, to celebrate, Dollywood is introducing their new Labor Day Weekend festival in their 2015 Dollywood festival schedule, Rock the Smokies.

Combining music and worship, the new Rock the Smokies show at Dollywood will feature talented gospel singers from all across the country for guests to the park to enjoy. The singers will be set up on various stages throughout the Pigeon Forge amusement park.

The Pigeon Forge attraction is also surprising visitors with a new, $5 million parking area and trolley system to help make their visit enjoyable from start to finish.

In addition to smoothing out the lot, guests should expect several new parking spaces and trolleys that will take guests from their car to the front door of the park.

Established in 2009, Visit My Smokies is the only site travelers need to plan a vacation to the Great Smoky Mountains.
