INTERNATIONAL TALENT SEEKERS AWARDS 2009-2010

We have pleasure in presenting the results of the first edition of the International Talent Seekers Awards.

We would also invite you to visit the F.A.Q. section of TalentSeekers' website, where we have announced important reforms in our system for the selection of artists to be presented to the jury for evaluation in the second edition of the awards, which commenced on 1st January 2010.

THE AWARDS

We wish to publicly thank the following organizations for their invaluable support and we would also like to invite them to participate in future editions.

TALENT SEEKERS (Spain) – www.talentseekers.net

Talent Seekers will contribute with the following prizes: The permanent spotlighting on its website of a list of artists chosen by the public, organized in accordance with the evaluation of the jury, the presentation of online certificates that can be displayed by the winners on their corresponding web pages and the development and management, in cooperation with Merkopolis, of an online shop where a selection of artists will be able to offer for sale their most outstanding creations.

Talent Seekers was conceived to unite in one single project cultural managers, artists and the public with the aim of discovering and promoting together talent in all creative fields. With more than 10.000 participants, the success of the first edition of the International Talent Seekers Awards has demonstrated the efficacy of this excellent tool.

SANE SOCIETY (Spain) – www.sanesociety.org

Sane Society will employ its data base of more than 100.000 contacts, including 13.580 cultural and media companies, in order to internationally promote the artist winners of this contest by means of an email campaign in 9 languages. They will also raffle Sane Society t-shirts between those who have participated with their votes. The winners will be contacted directly by Sane Society.

Sane Society, with more than 50.000 Works published over the last 7 years and several awards, is an artists’ community pioneer in its field. Originally conceived as a kind of virtual city and with the intention of fomenting communication and the exchange of ideas, this mini society of 8.200 inhabitants is organized in linguistic districts, as well as creative ones. The Sane Society team is responsible for the launch and management of Talent Seekers.

MERKOPOLIS (Spain) – www.merkopolis.com

Merkopolis offers development and management, in cooperation with Talent Seekers, of an online shop where a selection of artists will be able to offer for sale their most outstanding creations. Moreover, Merkopolis invites all members of Talent Seekers to subscribe to their website by inserting the special offer code MKP123 in the registration form and benefit in this way of the possibility of publishing up to one new advertisement per day, indefinitely.

Merkopolis is a website launched in 2010 by the same business group as Sane Society and Talent Seekers devised for the purchase, sale, auction and exchange of all types of articles. After five long years of development, Merkopolis is one of the most comprehensive platforms of its kind, offering a wide range of tools to help artists sell their work.

COPYRIGHT CREATORS (Canada) - www.copyrightcreators.com

Copyright Creators offers prizes for a value of over $100.000 in copyright registration services to all authors selected by the public ($100 per author up to a maximum of 1.000 authors), with a special package valued at $1.000 for the winner in each of the ten categories.

Copyright Creators is an online copyright registry that provides affordable lifetime copyright protection. There are no membership or renewal fees and there is unrestricted access to registered works and certificates of proof. Their specialized technical and legal teams have developed a system to offer their clients protection so that they can promote their work with the utmost confidence their intellectual property is secure.

PR-IMAGING (England) – www.pr-imaging.org

The ten artists selected by the jury will receive a Talent Seekers book personalised with their name on the cover, the content reflecting the professional background and work of the winners of the contest.

PR-Imaging is a leading company in its field, producing high quality albums for professional photographers and graphic designers. Those who belong to either of these two collectives and are also members of Talent Seekers, will be able to contract their services at a discount of 20% during the first six months of 2010 and 10% for the remainder of the year. PR-Imaging has established a rigorous protocol for admission of clients in order to protect the professional interests of the artists with whom they work. Being a client of PR-Imaging is a guarantee of quality.

AULAACTUAL (Spain) – www.aulaactual.com

Aula Actual has offered as a prize to the winner of the “Music” category a Cubase Essential 5 sequencer.

Established since 1997, AulaActual is a school pioneer in long distance musical education, with a leading research team in online educational resources.

ARTEINFORMADO (Spain) – www.arteinformado.com

Besides circulating the list of artists selected by the jury, ArteInformado will offer the winner of the “Painting, drawing, engraving” category the design and exhibition of a banner worth 600 € on their site during three months.

Born with the aim of gathering together in one single informative site artists, galerists and collectors, ArteInformado is one of the leading art online platforms in Spain, offering information regarding 30.000 exhibitions, 6.000 galleries and museums, 18.600 artists, 1.650 curators…

YAGE (Austria) – www.euroyage.com

Yage has offered to publish information regarding the winning artists, both online and off line.

Yage is an association dedicated to promote intercontinental cultural exchanges, particularly between Austria and South America. In addition to organizing cultural events, they boast several publications on the market.

Lastly, the following organizations will circulate the list of winners to their own users: GenomART (Italy), The Muse’s Muse (Canada), Earth Stoke ‘N Fire Pottery Studio and Artist Retreat (US), Cia Arte Cultura (Brazil) and Prose Club Network (US).
