The unprecedented rapid viewcount within the first 48 hours of the band’s Phonographic Love music video being premiered has enabled under-the-radar ‘buzz band’ Cha-Cha to be featured on the main page of YouTube’s music category.
Cha-Cha have been building up a loyal fanbase of followers since they formed a little over a year ago, and the support from such dedicated fans who have been eagerly awaiting the release of their debut single and forthcoming album has been phenomenal, resulting in the music video for the debut single ‘Phonographic Love’, which is digitally released today, receiving such an impressive viewcount within the first 48 hours that YouTube has automatically registered the video on it’s main page for ‘Most Viewed in Music Today’- an unexpected achievement and sign of great things to come in the future for the London-based trio, who before today had no officially released music available.
The music video was concepted, directed, edited and produced by up-and-coming creative filmmaker Tom Sharman, who recruited the respected D.O.P Jaime Feliu to shoot the promo video on RED cam. Shot in the fantastic Art Gallery/Cafe/Shoes & Vintage Clothes Shop of 10Gales in Bethnal Green, London- the music video also features artwork of established artist John Lee Bird.
The music video depicts the story of Rosie, a shy and timid girl portrayed by talented singer/actress Sophie Leniston, who after discovering a mysteriously gift-wrapped vinyl on her coffee table and deciding to play it, witnesses a rather strange occurrence in her flat...
