Ali & The DT’s sign with U.S. record label, TUN Records

In a push to bring their unique blues, rock, and soul sound to the United States, Ali & The DT’s just finalized their record deal with the rapidly growing U.S. interdependent label, TUN Records.

Over the past two years, while developing their sound, the band has gigged relentlessly in and around their hometown of Dublin City, Ireland. Last summer, they rented a log cabin in the country, and started recording their debut album, Get The First Layer of Civilisation Off.

The DT’s released their first state side single, Voodoo, earlier this month. Already, hundreds of U.S. listeners have flocked to their Facebook, Myspace, and Mailing List. With the songs powerful vocals and raw, distorted sound, Voodoo is sure to be a surprisingly welcomed punch in the throat to anyone who listens.

Get The First Layer of Civilisation Off is set for release on April 20th 2010. Plans are already in the works for an accompanying U.S. tour set for late summer, early fall.
