Songdoor 2009 International Songwriting Competition Giving All Entrants Free Melody-Writing Software and Songwriting Course
NASHVILLE, TENN., USA - September 25, 2009 -- The SongDoor 2009 International Songwriting Competition, in partnership with SongU.com, 16 Ton Studios, Hard Twist Music-BMI, MasterWriter, Spring Hill Studio Productions, Broadjam and Tanager Audioworks, will be giving every person who enters free melody-writing software and a free online songwriting course from SongU.Com.

"Our goal has always been to help songwriters improve their skills and knowledge," says Tony Zotta, SongDoor president. We're happy to be giving away these great songwriting tools to our entrants." The songwriting course and software are valued at $70 and are provided to each entrant after the competition winners are announced January 22, 2010. The software is available in both Mac and Windows formats.
SongDoor's website also provides free downloads, product discounts, a songwriting critique column and many other useful features which are free to all site visitors. No registration is required.
ABOUT SONGDOOR
The SongDoor International Songwriting Competition is an annual event, open to amateur and professional songwriters worldwide. Entries are accepted online or by mail from April 15 through November 15. The entry fee is $10. Judges include seasoned music industry producers, artists and engineers who have worked with such artists as Britney Spears, Neil Young, Keith Urban, Cheap Trick, Justin Timberlake, Jimmy Buffett, Garth Brooks, Vince Gill and a host of others.
