NASHVILLE SONG CIRCLE WORKSHOP TO START IN SEPTEMBER
With Songwriter/Recording Artist Janey Street
NASHVILLE (September 2009) Songwriters will have an opportunity to advance their songwriting skills and take theirs songs from ordinary to extraordinary during an intimate, intensive and interactive three-week Song Circle Workshop with master songwriter and recording artist Janey Street at her home studio in Nashville on Sept. 21, Sept. 28 and Oct. 5 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. During this three-week course, tunesmiths will share and develop their original songs and ideas under the professional, in-depth guidance of Janey Street. This workshop will allow a limited number of writers to realize their song ideas and take their songs to the next level both lyrically and melodically.
“Regardless of your current level of experience, your musical genre, and whether you are pursuing a commercial songwriting path or you are writing for yourself, you will leave this workshop with tools and strategies you can use again and again to write more powerful and impactful songs,” said Song Circle Workshop Coordinator Kimberly Maiers Shaw. “Each participant will receive personalized guidance and feedback each week from Janey Street. Each participant will leave with a minimum of one completed, finely crafted, and highly impactful song, while getting their questions answered about the craft and business of songwriting.”
Tuition for the Song Circle Workshop is $65 for the entire course. To register or for more information about the workshop, songwriters should contact workshop coordinator Kimberly Maiers Shaw at songcircleworkshop@gmail.com.
