For four hours, important topics are covered intensively, including what an A&R rep looks for when choosing who to sign, how to catch a record label’s attention, promoting on a budget, and creating a network of music business connections. Musicians will also learn the ins and outs of creating their own business with their music, how to move from micro distribution to macro distribution, how to submit music for radio airplay, and how to optimize web presence.

This service is not a cookie-cutter promoter’s meeting. Each consultation is tailored to the artist’s needs, level of experience, and goals. It goes step by step from duplicating CDs to booking shows to defining and developing the product and image. All information is relevant to the current situation of the artist and realistic to how much work is required to make music a career.
