Elli Fordyce to Perform at Stella Restaurant, Bar and Lounge in New York City

New York, NY, April 10, 2009 – Elli Fordyce will be performing songs from "Something Still Cool" and the forthcoming "Songs Spun of Gold.” With Elli on May 3rd will be Sarah Jane Cion, keyboard, and Sean Smith, bass, from 6:00 to 9:00pm at Stella (on future dates there will be Joe Tranchina, keyboard, and bass tbd), from 6:00 to 9:00pm at Stella, 213 Front Street, New York City, 10038 in the South Street Seaport, lower Manhattan. Elli Fordyce will be releasing her highly anticipated second CD “Songs Spun of Gold” in late spring, 2009, and at 72 continues to prove that she possesses vocal allure, depth and grace.

Currently (April 2009) Elli’s CD, “Something Still Cool,” is nominated for a MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs) Award for Best Jazz Recording.
