Toronto, ON – Voting opens to the pubic in the World Quest Music Songwriting Contest 2008
The World Quest Music Songwriting Contest opens it’s doors to the general public for voting as of Saturday, April 19th. The contest, which was just launched March 17th, has two categories of song writers – “professional” and “public”. One unique aspect of the contest is that everyone is eligible; any genre of music is welcome.
Contestants go head to head online where fans vote for their favorite entries. Semi-Finalists, Finalists and Grand Prize Winners are chosen based on these tallied online votes. Fans can vote at www.worldquestmusic.com. There are over $4,500 in cash and product prizes to be won as of tomorrow.
The current contest runs for five months and entrants can enter up to five (5) songs in the Non-Professional grouping and up to ten (10) songs in the Professional grouping. Voting for the Professional Category runs through to July 26, and the Non-Professional to August 8.
To help songwriters improve the contest offers an area for collaboration and skill development online WQM Contest has also just launched a forum...http://forum.worldquestmusic.com
