ATTENTION Songwriters/Poets/Spoken word Artists:

Are you interested in getting started writing songs, Poems, & Spoken word?
In this 1 1/2 hour group work shop learn different exercises that will show you how to "get Unstuck" and get started...learn how to stimulate ideas, start a song or poem, and have lots of material to use for verses and continue the process over and over and over again. This workshop has helped poets, writers, beginning, intermediate, or advanced songwriters or spoken word artists.
Workshop tuition $50.00-
Bring a friend to participate in the workshop your tuition is $40.00
(payable @ the workshop)

-If you are interested in participating in a 4 week Group songwriting workshop to learn how to write hit songs tuition is $180 "getting unstuck" will be week one's lesson! - in the 4 week workshop it is best if you play an instrument (just well enough to put together a tune) and each week you are given a new song element and exercise to take home and create a new song, each week you come back and play your new song and get peer and instructor feedback, then get a new set of exercises and lesson to create 4 new songs for your portfolio.

About your instructor:
Tamra Engle is an award winning singer songwriter who's latest release The Blonde Flame Session was on the Nominating ballot for the 50th annual Grammy Awards for Best contemporary folk album. Her sound has the rock sensibilities of Fleetwood Mac and the folk edge of early Neil Young; With a career in music spanning more than twenty-five years. This engaging acoustic performer has worked as a studio musician in Los Angeles and toured the country tirelessly. She has had songs placed in television movies, and nationally aired commercials.
