4 week Songwriting Classes (Beg. or Inter.)

GROUP CLASS DESCRIPTION (limit 6 students) $180
In this workshop format class, your instructor and peers provide feedback, writing assignments will help writers generate 4 finished songs to add to their resumes. Students are expected to bring a song for review each week, establishing a structure that allows students to get and stay in the creative flow. To get the most out of this class, you should have written a couple of songs and be able to play and sing well enough to perform in class, or be able to make and bring recordings of your songs. (please don't worry about being a pro, everyone in the class is there to learn!) :-)

About your instructor
Tamra Engle is an award winning singer songwriter who's latest release The Blonde Flame Session was on the Nominating ballot for the 50th annual Grammy Awards for Best contemporary folk album. Her sound has the rock sensibilities of Fleetwood Mac and the folk edge of early Neil Young;
With a career in music spanning more than twenty-five years. She started out fronting the all girl punk rock sensations The MsFits.
This engaging acoustic performer has worked as a studio musician in Los Angeles and toured the country tirelessly. She has had songs placed in television movies, and nationally aired commercials
