This Saturday November 10, 2007 – 4th Annual South Bay Music Awards – Mike Lounibos will attend this Red Carpet event. His new release, Planet California, is being nominated for Best Independent CD (all genres) and Mike is also up for Country Artist/Group of the Year.

The prestigious 7th Annual Independent Music Awards (IMA ) just announced that Mike Lounibos & Planet California have been selected as Country Album Finalist; winners will be announced in December 2007. The distinguished Judges list includes Snoop Dog, Mavis Staples, Suzanne Vega, Les Claypool, MTV, Rolling Stone Magazine, Performing Songwriter Magazine, Charlie Musselwhite, and Judy Collins among many others.
