For all musicians, songwriters, producers, djs, attorneys and related professionals. Don’t miss this all-day event featuring panels on topics including:
-The World of Digital Licensing: iTunes, Ringtones and Downloads
-Going Indie: The Major Label Alternative
-Getting Your Show on the Road: Problems and Solutions with Live Performances
-The DIY Artist
-Face the Music: A Song Critiquing Panel with Gian Fiero
There will also be basic primers, Anatomy of a Record Contract and Setting Up and Running Your Business, and the opportunity to sign up for brief consultations with lawyers regarding copyright questions. The event will conclude with a demo listening session so don’t forget to submit your work!
