IVO Wins The 2007 Singer/Songwriting Awards from We Are Listening

We Are Listening’s prestigious panel of judges, consisting of major label executives, celebrated producers and award winning songwriters, have selected Swiss artist, IVO, as their number one pick for Round 3 of The 2007 Singer/Songwriter Awards.

IVO’s winning song, “Hold On”, made a strong impact on We Are Listening staff and contest panellists with its strong composition, vocal delivery and obvious commercial appeal. We Are Listening’s managing director, Lior Shamir, commented:
“IVO has a strong product, great writing attributes and the kind of management and attitude required to make a splash in the US and European mainstream markets.”

Now in its third year, The Singer/Songwriter Awards has produced winners that have gone on to sign publishing deals, license their catalogues to US network television and secure prominent management and PR. IVO is the third addition to the 2007 winners‘ table following the success of Canadian rock duo, Drowning Girl and Israeli-born, Tami Machnai, earlier in the year. More about the winners here:
