Two great emerging music artists – rock ‘n country singer-songwriter Chelsea Lena and pop/rock singer-songwriter Sara Haze - performing together under the banner of Lightning Strikes Twice will play a string of dates In Nashville at:



Bluebird Café – Sunday, September 9th, 6:00 p.m.,
The Blue Bar – Monday, September 10th at 10:00 p.m.,
Cadillac Ranch Rock ‘N Country Bar & Grill for Billy Block’s Western Beat live radio broadcast – Tuesday, September 11th
Fuel, Wednesday, September 12th, 8:00 p.m.



As Lightning Strikes Twice each artist plays her own set before ending with a duet showcasing their powerful vocal styles. They will be accompanied by: one of Lower Broadway’s first call fiddle players, Merna "Fiddlebird” Heersink; Matthew Burgess: drums & percussion; Dave Robyn: acoustic & electric guitar, Slyde: pedal steel and bassist Carl Melberg adding his East Coast edge to the rhythm section.


Recent LST concert dates have included Microsoft’s World Partner Conference Convention in Denver where they performed for 10,000 people a day with a closing night party at Coors Field Stadium.

Chelsea Lena has called the stage her home since she was five, but it wasn't until a few years ago that she started singing and writing her own songs. Now at 17, Chelsea Lena has opened for Toby Keith (at San Bernardino’s K-FROG Radio tailgate party), Carrie Underwood and Tyler Hilton, performed at South By Southwest 2007 and the CRS 2007 Emerging Artist Showcase. In addition to writing her own songs, Chelsea is also working with E.B. Fraley (Tanya Tucker, Ty Herndon) and the Elicit Music Group. Her single, “Finally Got Away”is currently featured on the syndicated BackPorchShow.com.



Sara Haze has had multiple song placements in TV in the past two years, including the Oxygen
hit Bad Girls Club (with a performance cameo on two episodes with country singer-songwriter Kerry Harvick) and sang the theme song of Season Two’s The Simple Life. Sara recently signed a licensing & administration deal with PEN Music Group, Inc. Influenced by Jewel, Sarah McLachlan, Joss Stone, John Mayer, Etta James and Aretha Franklin, Sara delivers her music in a powerful, emotional voice. She is currently working on her debut CD, The Ladderfeaturing songs co-written with various songwriters who collectively have worked with several of today’s top artists in rock and country.
