Ricky Fitzpatrick Announces Release of "The Same Only Different" Digital Version

Singer/Songwriter Ricky Fitzpatrick has been writing and performing original music in and around the North Georgia area most of his life. And with an artist site, thriving Myspace page, online sales, multiple awards and 2 CD releases to his credit, he’s become very familiar with the commercial side of a music project. But his latest release promises to be
his most exciting and versatile, to date.

“The Same, Only Different”, Fitzpatrick’s latest Live CD has been available now for several months as a physical CD that fans can buy, as expected, at concerts or through the artist’s website. And while fan opinions about the release have been high, Fitzpatrick admits that he isn’t satisfied, worried that it isn’t appealing to a broad enough range
of the public. “As with any album, there are usually songs that people like and songs that people don’t like. And that’s a problem when you’re paying $15-20 for a few songs, most of which you never care to listen to.” But the idea of fans being able to create their own customized digital CD
is something he hopes will appeal to a wider audience base than ever before.

“The ability to buy and download digital tracks has been available for quite some time now” he says. “And CD customization is nothing new. But the technology and availability for the independent artist to make this
professionally available without going through some gigantic internet company has been pretty limited. Now, with our latest web additions, we can finally keep the cost low and still provide the music that people want, and then all the artwork, pictures and liner notes that fill a CD, all free to download.”

Fitzpatrick is thrilled to announce the online release of the Digital Edition of “The Same, Only Different”, available immediately as either a 12-song CD (containing two previously unreleased bonus tracks), or track by track as individual downloads. The “CD” is debuting a remarkably low
