SL MultiTracks Volumes 2, 3 and 4 Now Available in REX2 Format

WALTHAM, MA-- Smart Loops has released the SL MultiTracks Volume 2, 3 and 4 drum loop libraries in REX2 format for compatibility with even more Mac and PC software samplers and DAW software. Previously the loop collections were only available in ACID WAV and Apple Loops formats.

With SL MultiTracks, computer-based musicians and producers can take complete control of the drum mix by discretely controlling volumes, EQ and FX on individual drum and cymbal loops (kick, snare, hats, overheads, and toms). Each MultiTrack groove and one-shot is provided in two ways: as a set of multitrack drum and cymbal loops, and as a complete stereo mix loop.

With SL MultiTracks Loop Libraries, musicians and producers can:

* Adjust volume of individual drums and cymbals
* Add separate EQ and FX to different drums
* Solo individual drum tracks for precise mixing
* Quickly build tracks with stereo mix loops, and then modify later with separate drum and cymbal loops

SL MultiTracks Volume 2 includes the following loop libraries:
6/8 Slow-Medium Thick Brushes 1-- 37 loops and one-shots perfect for rock, jazz, blues, and country songs. 129 individual track loops allow discrete mixing of kick, snare, hats, overheads, and toms; recommended tempo range 45-110 BPM.

Medium Straight Rock 2A-- 31 loops and one-shots perfect for rock, funk, hard rock, pop, and country songs. 128 individual track loops for discrete mixing of kick, snare, hats, overheads, and toms; recommended tempo range 74-152 BPM.

Medium Straight Rock 2B (Half-Time Grooves)-- 28 loops and one-shots perfect for rock, hard rock, pop, and country songs needing a half-time groove. 117 individual track loops for discrete mixing of kick, snare, hats, overheads, and toms; recommended tempo range 74-152 BPM.

SL MultiTracks Volume 3 includes the following loop libraries:
Slow Rock 1-- 27 loops and one-shots for slow songs that still need the attack of a rock tune. Also perfect for a medium tempo song with a half-time feel (snare back-beat on beat three instead of beats two and four) 115 individual track loops for discrete mixing of kick, snare, hats, overheads, and toms; recommended tempo range 50-107 BPM.

Slow-Medium Triplet Rock 1-- 31 loops and one-shots for a slow triplet feel, or a little faster 6/8 song. 125 individual track loops for discrete mixing of kick, snare, hats, overheads, and toms; recommended tempo range 60-125 BPM.

Military Snare Grooves 1-- 36 loops and one-shots featuring military or marching band snare drum patterns with kick and hi-hat parts included as part of the grooves for more of rock feel. 148 individual track loops for discrete mixing of kick, snare, hats, overheads, and toms; recommended tempo range 90-165 BPM.

SL MultiTracks Volume 4 includes the following loop libraries:
6/8 Medium Rock 1-- 51 loops and one-shots perfect for rock, jazz, blues, and country songs. 224 individual track loops allow you to mix the loops how you want; recommended tempo range 100-175 BPM.

Medium-Fast Bossa Nova 1-- 33 loops and one-shots for faster bossa nova, Brazilian, jazz, and fusion songs. 74 individual track loops allow for total control of your mix; recommended tempo range 150-190 BPM.

Medium Straight Country Rock 1-- 48 loops and one-shots perfect for country, rock, and pop songs. 219 individual track loops allow you to mix the loops how you want; recommended tempo range 70-135 BPM.
