We Are Listening, creators of The Singer/Songwriter Awards, Lyric Writer Awards and New Music Video Awards, is preparing next week’s launch of its most comprehensive international independent artist campaign. The blitz promotional initiative, dubbed “Breaking the Band”, is modeled on the company’s success with song, lyric and video contests. The concept ties major US music festival appearances, US radio campaigns, booking and touring support, television and film licensing, and print and web media publicity into one, all-encompassing contest prize with an estimated value of $15,000 per artist.
