The Muse's Muse, an online songwriting resource and community since 1995, today formally announced that it is entering into a close alliance with SongScope.com, a division of Vision Music Group Inc.

SongScope.com (http://www.songscope.com/musesmuse.cfm) was created by industry professionals in need of fresh, new material that was often difficult to find. Until only recently, the majority of songwriters had only been able to "shop" their songs by virtue of limited trips to LA, New York or Nashville. SongScope.com allows writers to build an on-line song catalog, receive email notification of industry professional needs, submit specific songs for those specific requests and build tour calendars and promotion pages. Also, audio/video co-writing rooms are being added to the application. Songwriters increase their chances of getting a "cut" and expand their industry contact along with their co-writing network.
