It is hard to judge a band by listening to a single and usually we do not review singles, but they have put so much enthusiasm in sending me their musical creature that they definitely deserve a mention. The Avisi are British rock band from South Wales. They have been on the scene since 2009 and they are getting more and more exposure. Their songs are cool, you listen to them and they just do not get out of your head easily. Their style is pure British indie rock. They have catchy melodies, attractive guitar riffs, a powerful voice all together resulting in an energetic sound. The 3 songs on the cd are called 1. Hold Me, 2. Alternative Love Song, 3. Take Me Away. The single is “Alternative love song”. A rock pop tune with a cool guitar riff and a catchy chorus. The vocals are good with a magic blend. They sound like those real bands we used to love, made of music lovers and power notes. This band is really promising, we can’t wait to hear more from them.
