CD REVIEW: Jack Saunders - Blue Shadows
By Ben Ohmart - 05/21/2007 - 10:34 AM EDT

Artist: Jack Saunders
Genre: Country
CD Review:
Typically good country, more on the happy side than the tragic love 'em and leave 'em blues country. Even the title song, about unhappiness, is so upbeat that you forget the tone of the words. And 'Your Hands' is the first ballad, right out of the Joe Cocker cannon, complete with lady to duet with. Jack's got a good voice. He'll need more production to compete with Shania, but for the simpler side, this is great if you spend your days on that wooden bridge and just don't care about anything 'sides feelin' a little positive with the world.
