CD REVIEW: Go-rin-no-sho - Inner Light
By Ben Ohmart - 05/21/2007 - 10:34 AM EDT

Artist: Go-rin-no-sho
Genre: Rap
CD Review:
Rap with a good beat and powerful messages, with some very clever phrases and turns of attitude. 10 songs, over 50 minutes, but the lyrics aren't in the booklet, or else I'd be quoting them all over the place. 'Hand of God', 'One + One', 'Rat-Tat-Tat' are catchy to the extreme, even if you're not into rap, you can't deny that here we have some song hooks that defy category. That said, you've probably gotta like rap to fully appreciate what you've got here. Otherwise, your tough luck.
