CD REVIEW: Flagstone - Flagstone

Artist: Flagstone Genre: Rock CD Review: A 58 minute demo cd of various seasons of the band. Live and studio, instrumental and dark lyrics. A good overview to a Flagstone that is taking Dayton, OH by thunder storm.
I must say I like the 1st half better than the 2nd because the live stuff isn't the Best recorded in the world. That said, being a man used to boots, I am able to look through the sound quality to the song quality. They know how to shake their cymbals and crank guitars wherever they are unchained.
They start off with 'Hum' which is like an alternative Pink Floyd with 2 drummers. The guitar's in the fish tank and the lead voice is pissed.
Instrumentals like 'Radical Squared' show the power of the live band. I think they'd drive my ears into deafness if I were standing in the same room. But the drummer rocks and the guitar is possessed by one of the greater Norse gods. Jumping stuff.
Hopefully they're starting a real cd. Or taking advantage of mp3.com to be heard more outside of their own area. Because they have a real future, I'd say.
