CD REVIEW: Chet Delcampo - The Fountain
By Ben Ohmart - 05/21/2007 - 10:34 AM EDT

Artist: Chet Delcampo
Genre: Country/Folk
CD Review:
From the modern country of 'A chance of use' to the dynamic of soft folk ('Aglow'), Chet shows off his many moods with slow gusto. I prefer the jazz side of his 'Argentina (Comari)', because it's a well-produced sound. Piano, bass, drums, do I hear vibes? Anyway, it's as cool as you can get without getting stuck to the tray. No lyrics in the book, cd's just over a half hour, but what there is here is nice, from simple to smooth, like a man's sampler for the record company. Enjoy the many sounds of Delcampo.
