CD Review:
This cd doesn't make it to the 30 minute mark, so perhaps it's an EP. Whatever, it's very energetic pop rock that's played and sung with great big hairy __ls. 'Bombshell Delight' is dance music before it became DANCE MUSIC. The guitar clicks on like hitting metal bars together (you know what I mean), the beat is constant, and gives good chorus. Though for the best musical chorus, I'll take 'Tommy Said', pretty damn catchy, people.
Good drum work to 'Pakastine, Pakastine'. Guitar grinds like fresh coffee. 'over mountain high and i'm feelin' low / over mountain high and i'm feelin' low / with no money in my coat, no clothes on my back / and I got nowhere to go.' No money is a recurring theme in this cd. Let's commiserate, Clove....
The vocals here are by Jennifer Cerreta, who reminds me of how Julie Brown (the redhead) might sound if she could sing. The band is lucky to have a sweet and sour force like this to front. Makes me smile.
