CD REVIEW: LeNor Barry - Skeletons Die Laughing
By Ben Ohmart - 05/21/2007 - 10:34 AM EDT

Artist: LeNor Barry
Genre: Folk
CD Review:
Interesting title. Could it be that if you wait long enough the bad news in your life will turn funny? I hope so. Something to look forward to it.

Got this 47 minute cdr in the mail, and the 17 songs are good folk stuff. I have no lyrics to quote, but take my word for it, there are pleasant tunes right here. She sounds like Jewel might sound in 10 years, and with just voice and guitar, this becomes a very free, personal album that is almost so close to the artist, sometimes you wonder if we the listeners should BE here.

She IS damn good, so contact her about buying a cd or a gig. You won't be disappointed.
