    Hey Nicholas,
I just came across your comment from June on my profile and wanted to thank you for it. Glad to see someone else from my neck of the woods on here!

Naked City? Jazz meets Grindcore? Yeah, I've heard of them. They're interesting, but they're not my scene, haha. I'm into the slow stuff. Paramaecium? Heaviest stuff you'll ever hear. Exhumed of the Earth is slow as the very tectonic plates of the earth and as heavy as the same. Napalm Death is alright as far as grindcore goes. I prefer Pig Destroyer in that category.

My recording's going well. Hope you like brutal doom metal... Also, if you don't like screamo, Mastodon will change your mind. It's the only reason I can stand screaming to this day.

A good band to "cross over" with is Mastodon. I recommend listening to their album "Crack The Skye" first, and keep an open mind about it! If you're into the doom thing, (Sleep, Sabbath, etc.), you might like Saint Vitus or Trouble. A heavier doom/death band is Paramaecium. If you want to get into black metal, start with Drudkh. If you want to get into death metal, start...
