About Me

My name is james, I am from Northampton but currently am living and studying literature in Reading (UK). I've played guitar since I was 11, and have played in a variety of bands of different genres over the years. Now I play solo or with a friend in local bars around Reading. I try to write honest songs, and am inspired by delta blues, woody, dylan, the carter family, tom waits, cohen and modern people like conor oberst and m. ward. My inspiration also comes from old hollywood movies, and books I've read.
