About Me
Hello everyone! My name is Shaunta. I am active duty military stationed in Illinois and live in Missouri. I've served in the military for 17 years and have 3 more years to retire. Woo Hoo! Can't wait! I am about as single as they come and have no children, but my cats, Fluffy and Fuzzy. But I am enjoying the heck out of my single life because I get to work on developing myself for purpose.
I enjoy designing websites, writing prayers in my journal, singing gospel songs, songwriting, financial budgeting, clipping coupons, posting comments on discussion forums, and listening to gospel or jazz music. I also like to travel, go to jazz concerts, symphonies, orchestras, dinner plays, museums, and aquariums. I am quite a busy lady.
My favorite recording artists are Kirk Franklin, Ce Ce Winans, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Tarralyn Ramsey, Fred Hammond, and Take 6. I mainly like Mariah Carey because the girl can simply blow! Anytime you can sing a note that is not on the piano and hold it, you can sing! That's my homegirl, Mariah! I also like Take 6 because these guys sing most of their songs acapello and make the music with their mouths. They are the balm!
I am currently attending American Military University pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Web Designing and Multimedia. I plan to graduate before January 2012.
Below is a list of my specific goals within the next five years:
- Record and publish my first Gospel Single
- Purchase a 4-bedroom home
- Create FREE Websites for churches, nonprofit organizations, and outreach ministries
- Acquire a CIW license in Web Designing
- Complete a Bachelor's of Science in Web Designing and Multimedia
- Establish a Web Designing and Computer Programming Business in my home
- Own a Recording Studio Business in my home
- Establish a Non-Profit Homeless and Rehab Ministry to help homeless families find refurbished homes, provide rehabilitation for drug and alcohol addicts, and to facilitate job placement programs to help people in hardship learn technical skills to get back on their feet.
- To retire from the military
I know this is a lot, but with God's help, my hard work, and support of family, friends, and church members, it is all possible.

It is very large, educational, and beautiful. If you ever get the chance to stop through Myrtle Beach sometimes, you ought to check out their aquarium. It is gorgeous!
