Hi there!

My name's Ira. I'm a lyricist from Russia. I'm an aspiring passionate lyricist who's probably not that very much talented but willing to work hard to write good lyrics. My influences are: Elton John / Bernie Taupin (and I would like to form a collaboration team like that one), Pet Shop Boys, Billy Joel, Queen, Scissors Sisters, Marvin Gaye, A-ha, Procol Harum, Leonard Cohen, The Killers, Beach Boys.... ummm... an endless list I just like good music

Most of the lyrics I've written are for rock of some kind, but I've got some lyrics for other genres, too.

Writing lyrics is more a hobby that something serious for me, but if someday I become a pro lyricist that'll be great, I would love that. But I need someone to work on my stuff/collaborate with to make my dream come true.

I can write lyrics to ready-made melodies but they turn out not very much imaginative (yet not bad).

Some of my lyrics were taken by 3 different composers, but I haven't seen/heard results yet.

I would like to find people (both lyricists and composers/musicians) who can help me to improve my writing, who can give advice, who are willing to work with an aspiring lyricist like me. Collaboration in full meaning is what I'm looking for.
