There was a listing calling for a U2-style instrumental with a bit of Ukulele. They wanted a strong mimic of U2--quote. Just a rough draft for now. Thoughts? Thanks.

Hi Zeek,
Sounds U2ish enough to me.
I don't know whether or not you had time constraints on the song, but at around the 0:57 mark I would have like to have heard a variation on the theme that you repeated beforehand.
Some differentiation in chord and/or melody would have been nice to my ears and emotions at that point.
But it is well performed and the mix is nice and clean.
Good luck with it.

Hey Zeek - Good for uke!!
I haven't had much listening time, but I knew this was a "gots to" for me. I liked it. Unlike, for example the recent Eddie Vedder "Ukulele Songs" album, you managed to keep the ukelele's character present. One thing you might consider, especially if you want an add'l section or mevemnt. Is to maybe let the uke move to the forground and then give it "Edge" processing. If you've heard Greg Hawkes' "Beatles Uke" album, uke-processing can be really cool and differentiate a section.
Good luck and keep up the good work! Aloha - Ron

hey Zeek,
I can hear a U2 vibe going on with this alright (been listening to The Joshua Tree lots recently).
If think that if you hammer on the guitar chord to Dsus4 from D the second time rather than from Dsus4 to D again that would remind me even more of 'I still haven't found what I'm looking For'....also maybe a droney sort of fog horn guitar playing power chords.

Nice track and certainly has the vibe. Had me reaching for my guitar and playing along and that bass line is magic.

Nice tune. I'm not a U2 fan so, I'd prefer it with another guitar sound, but it's just a matter of taste, because it sounds nice. And I like the uke sound a lot as well as the general atmosphere of your piece. Nice job as usual.
