[Had a metal theme in my head when I wrote it and I believe it would probably work the best for this lyric. Comments, suggestions, etc are always welcome]

(Title) It Wasn't Me

(Verse)
Chased by storm-troopers
All I did was speak my mind
Bystanders shaking heads
Left lying in the gravel
Thumbs zipped behind my back
Throat sore … from the stick

(Verse)
Guilt doesn’t matter
Swimming against the flow
Didn’t do what you were told
We “are” the new God
Kneel or be left behind
In your mouth … tasting dirt

(Chorus)
But it wasn’t me
(You Think That Really Matters?)
I didn’t do anything
(Shut-up Punk! Lay down!)
(Toe The Line!)
But it wasn’t me …

(Verse)
Up against the wall
Feeling vio-lated
Hands in all the seams
Then pushing trash
In a banana suit
What does it all mean?

(Chorus)
It wasn’t me
(You Think That Really Matters?)
I didn’t do anything
(Shut-up Punk! Lay down!)
(Toe The Line!)
But it wasn’t me …

(Verse)
Tribute to your masters
To get your daily bread
Had to open your mouth
Time served for discontent
Be a good slave
You … will be back!

(Chorus)
But it wasn’t me
(You Think That Really Matters?)
I didn’t do anything
(Shut-up Punk! Lay down!)
(Toe The Line!)
But it wasn’t me …
