Hello everyone

My name is Maja and I'm from Copenhagen , Denmark.
I sing, produce music and write songs. My lyrics writing though, is not at all as I wish it to be. But I have had success in co-writing lyrics. So I'm here to find a co-writer.

I make electronic music, with influences from trip hop, dark dub, pop, neo soul and jazz. My songs are about daily life, passion, love, hate, fear, and also the dark side of life..you know the usual stuff, but said in a new way..if that is possible :-)

I have written many lyrics, but they are not strong enough for my taste. So what I have had success with is for example, swop lyrics, and work on each others words. Or write on a common topic or...Maybe you have good ideas for co-writing.

This is a link to one examples of what I do:

A million eyes. Very nice listen. You have a very pleasant alluring voice. Very nice lyrics - just what did you have in mind? Do you have a working lyric where you are looking for some input?

Thank you! Yes I have working lyrics and would like inputs, and I would also like to collaborate with a lyricist on future projects.

go check out the lyric feedback board. All lyrics there - maybe one will catch your eye. What music genre do you prefer?

I will look for the lyrics.User interface of this site is new to me. Genre depends on topic and largely with the rhythmic content of the lyric and the emotional tone.I can do Rock , Pop, Country, Folk/Acoustic and even edge into Jazz. Not big on Club music but have some experience with the apps ( Ableton, Fruity)
Check out You Tube search : 99 Percenter Song

Here's song I am currently working on. I need to work on the second verse, and make a c-part.
Feel free to comment. It's a slow dark trip hop tune.

Verse 1
I see the light in your eyes burning holes in the sky
And when you come to my bed everything is turning red

Chorus
I'm holding on too tight
I should have left before
I've sunken in too deep
And I can't sign off............I think I'm following up to here.

They're screaming in my ears
But they don't understand
How much I want to stay
In this suffering...............this is where it takes a 180. It starts as your emotional struggles then moves into "they" I'm not sure who "they" is supposed to be. Are they the conflicting voices?

Verse 2
Burn down my house, cut my wings
Feed me flames from your heart

Hi again :-)

"They" are the outside world trying to get through to the person. Trying to tell her/him that it's not good to stay in that situation/relationship.
