I was watching some of my fav vids on youtube and was watching some performance poetry and watched a few videos by Tim Clare - an english poet/ukulele player and he had the ingenius idea of this song:
http://www.youtube.c...h?v=wlH5Q5DrjFs
and to get the creative juices i had a go at doing the same and i thought... why dont i put this to the musers...
write a new verse for favourite things changing the word thing as well - like in the video mings, kings, bings, etc
anyways heres my most recent attempt:
that girl with the pink hair blue, hair or yellow
the one with tongue stud obsessed with red Jello
Those gothic girls coverd in tatoos and rings
These are a few of my scariest flings.

I'll give it a try
Schoolboys with pants hanging down past their asses
Young girls who text while they're driving to classes
Twilight and MySpace and Robitripping
These are a few of youth's worst offerings

Great fun MrFitz!
Old Rupert Murdoch and all of his cronies
Fox TV news with it’s legion of phonies
Corrupt politicians on left and right wings
These are a few of my worst human beings

Go Johnnie, go. Love it!
Ella and Billie and Dizzy Gillespie
The one made of rope that Dad hung from our old tree
The couple who claimed they weren't into such things
These are a few of my favorite swings

Jerk in that car park who took out my headlight
Senile old lady who ran through the red light
Dented front fenders, back bumper's missing
These are a few of my car's biggest dings
When I'm drinking
And I'm driving
Through the neighborhood
The chances I cause a few dings of my own
Are actually pretty good
Senile old lady who ran through the red light
Dented front fenders, back bumper's missing
These are a few of my car's biggest dings
When I'm drinking
And I'm driving

I think it's just you and me, Johnnie. Oh well, a couple of great minds don't need a crowd for entertainment.
Chains with medallions and chunk diamond earrings
Rings that Liz Taylor wouldn't be caught dead wearing
Rap stars with Bentleys and gold recordings
These are a few drastic cases of bling
He's got money
He's got bitches
Cognac and Patron
And if he should fall off his gold plated yacht
He'll sink like a blinking stone

Abso-sloot-ly right...but where's MrFitz? He's bailed on us...
Billy Bob Thornton so sweet and demented
David took aim and his fame was cemented
That drink made with Gin and Benedictine
These are a few Of my favorite slings
I was woozy
She's a floozy
I don't give a damn
She's got my money and I got a roll
Took me for what I am

Last one for the road for now.
Elvis and Jesus just outside Atlanta
Men in Black spotted with Alien Santa
Mothman in London, Bigfoot in Bejing
These are a few of my fav'rite sightings
They are out there
In the shadows
When I'm feeling blue
I simply remember what Scully learned too
Conspiracies do come true

Backpacking in Italy! I shall never forgive you...
Nice one!
First there was Goldie she wore a bikini
Then Barbara Eden, Wow, what a Genie
Suzanne Somers and that thigh-master thing
These are my favorite blonde ding-a-lings
Kinda ritzy,
sorta Ditzy
in a sexy way
Bosoms like theirs I don't give a care
They're in heart to stay
