Videos Of You Playing Live!!

The video is very clear.
And I know I should not have so much of a problem with your Queens accent (being married to a Liverpool scouser),
but perhaps on the next one you could ask the proprietors if you could do a sound-check.
Your vocal is a bit too distant for me to understand.
Tell them your taping for the BBC or something.
If no one else has this problem, please disregard as the problem is probably with my ears.
Have fun.

Danny .. I know what you mean.. but hopefully.. it's ok
it is a fun topic.. I noticed Dave Butler posting one on the 1+1
and thought we could pop them on here.. I'll tell him to pop his over
a big church hall and a big stage too.. packed most of the time.. so, a lovely venue to play at and cosy..

"I think of you" is very sweet.. love the guitar plucking..
yeah.. I know what it's like with noise.. the folk club
is silent when people play.. which can be nervy for people!
"going into town" really gentle too.. nice chorus of the la's..
hope we get to meet up sometime .. would be a good night of singing and beer..

You're getting a bigger audience now, though! Sorry I overlooked this earlier in the thread (I was distracted by Stew's naughty bits...)
Nice work, David.

OK - I gave it a try. Probably a major mistake. I'm still working on this song and had to read the words (so I'm looking down), and I am getting over a cold, so I'm croaking like a frog - but it's me, this evening... if it works (never done this before!)

The verses were a bit hard to hear but the hook came through loud and clear. You've got a great voice and nice legs. I don't know about your naughty bits but I imagine they're fine as well. Gotta ask.....did you steal that hat from Castro?

Alistair, having seen that I'm really looking forward to seeing the song up for critique - it sounds to me like one of your best. Nice to watch the performance too

well.. I never.. been out playing for a bit..
come back.. sipping a drink and playing this on the comp...
on my second play.. you really are a fab player.. even if you are drenched
with a cold mate... it didn't show.
wonderful and just .. great, great to see you mate.. and to see you play
delicate song.. and beautifully played my friend!
I'd love to meet up with you Nig and a few chums from here sometime this summer..
we could really bug some open mic .. have all of us play
I'm thrilled people have liked this idea.. oh.. Nig.. I remember one of your vids
a while back.. be good to see it again!
---------------------------
Thanks Jonie..
I do love my hats..
especially with the beard... Castroesk indeed!
---------------------------
Third play on Als.. deliberate and gentle..
hope I can play like that someday
also.. the very English accent.. with my Welsh one..
and Nig from Brummy.. David's almost melancholy vide..
be a fun night!

I'd be happy to meet up any time, Stew. Reading and Cardiff aren't that far apart! Let's do it!
We also have a few members here in Reading now (another new one today, and Nige is here during the week). Cardiff is a great city, though.. so either is good for me.
Len is often around, too. Let's do something!

Now, that WAS, "So Special!!"
I loved hearing that song I've been reading in lyrics!
It is also really great to see that you are real and in 3D, what fun, I'm glad you did that and I do really like your song!!

I sang when I stayed at John Paragreens a few years back..
the first time I played infront of people.. golly.. what a fab guy John is..
and his friends were wonderful.. I was probably bad singing.. but since played loads..
which gives one more confidence
we will arrange something.. bloody love to see Len, Nig and you.. and David
and anyone we know .. I've even got some festivals (nothing big) to play at
in the summer.. in the Gower.. be good experience.
you are just up the road to be fair.. sure a night of music and muse gossip..
is not far away!
