A frightening panoply of mixed messages and overlapping images. Things like Baby Jesus sitting on Santa's lap and reindeer landing in the mall parking lot. My family's always there so it's ok.

Whoa! Pigs are flying! Bruce beat me to it!

Q: Is it comfort or lack of ambition that keeps you where you are ?

Lack of ambition is comfortable once you come to accept it.

Q: Where will you be this Christmas?

A good number of years ago (1993) I had the chance to shake hands and chat a bit while working along side with Jimmy Carter as he was here in town with tool belt and hammer in hand working on a Habitat For Humanity project.

Although some may not share in this, but what a amazingly great leader you Americans had in President Jimmy Carter. Posted Image

Jimmy Carter - The finest, most decent man to occupy the Oval Office in my lifetime. I'm a huge fan - then and now.

A: Maybe a show about average people auditioning their ideas for a movie. The winner gets to see his movie produced and played worldwide.

Or, for something really different, I could get a bunch of intelligent people to cohabit for a year.

Neither, I hate Twilight.

Taylor Swift or Carrie Underwood?
Dream Theater, Muse, Opeth, Thrice, Pain of Salvation, Porcupine Tree, Brand New, Avenged Sevenfold, Ben Folds, The Airborne Toxic Event, Radiohead, Blue October

"Follow through/Make your dreams come true/Don't give in to the fight/It will be alright/Because there's no one like you in the universe. Don't be afraid/Of what your mind conceives/You should make a stand/Stand up for what you believe/Cos tonight we can truly say/Together we're invincible. During the struggle/They will pull us down/But please... Please let's use this chance to/Turn things around/And tonight we can truly say/Together we're invincible." Muse - Invincible

i am disinclined to acquiesce to your request.
thank you. we're all refreshed and challenged by your unique point of view.
i need a lover that won't drive me crazy.
i brought my pencil . . . gimme something to write on!

if you love someone, let him fly. or break his wings so he can't leave.
on a hot summer night would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses?
the boob has been deboobed.
if you choose not to decide you still have made a choice.
the opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference.
kill one man, you're a murderer. kill a million, a king. kill them all, a god.

I'm sure you and some others remember him, I would like to meet up with D C W, though he hasn't been around for awhile, I always found what he had to say as intriguing and interesting, and I'm sure he had more say then what he would allow himself to do on this site. I hope he's doing well.

If I was in Siberia, a Siberian tiger. If I was in Africa, an African lion. If I was marooned on a desert island, neither. Unless I was armed and very hungry.
