THE CD'S ARE HERE! #$@)(*#(*%)$%*#@$&*#@%$&)$^*)%^& (And no, that wasn't cussing- ;) Just a bunch of unintelligible whoops and hollers! :D )

Actually, 2 of the three boxes arrived today! (The other is due tomorrow.)

They look fabulous - and the sound . . . WOW! It is amazing!

Listening right now and I am very impressed . . . hoping and praying you all will be too!

HEY SIB! Pizza tomorrow???? :D :D :D

There is one thing I need to check on, but I think this is definitely a go! YAY!

Forgive me if I don't answer questions immediately, I'll be a little busy over the next few days or so.

how will you ensure you have proper postage?

are you going to request receipts?

next day delivery?

what about natural disasters along the postal routes to my house?

Yes, we did actually enjoy some delicious pizza AFTER we stuffed (most) of the CD's. Josh, sorry you missed out! ;)

Posted Image

All 400 on the table. The small pile of 17 off to the left have defective/broken cases that will be replaced before the shrink wrap process today.

SIB and I both thought it would be great to have a REAL release party at Muse's Muse headquarters! Ya ready for us all, Jodi?

Just thought you'd like to see a little glimpse of what's going on. ;)

The pics are only working about 1/2 the time for me - so if anybody else can't view them here . . . try this link Webshots - MM CD Project Album

and i just have one thing to say about the CD (other than the fact that Cool E did an excellente job mastering it!) :

the CD was very tacky! :o

anyway, the beer and pizza were absolutely lovely - thanks ;)

Yes, the CD's are/were tacky! But not in the way, Ms. Satan is suggesting!

The INK on the CD's is tacky - NOT the music.

That's actually why we had to wait a day before stuffing - just to let the ink cure a little bit.

:D

(SIB you are a pest! :P But I love ya anyway! LOL)

Three cheers and a hip hip hurray for Ordinary Girl, Bubbles, Cool e, Joro and Marty q and all those others who have contributed to the successful completion of the first Musesmuse CD Project circa 2004!!!
It's simply fantastic that you all brought this from conception to reality.
I'll let you think up ways in which we can all thank you.
There are certainly Musers much more erudite than moi so I hope they will step up to the mic and say a little something nice about what you have accomplished.
And so to you and Jodi, who has made this all possible, a very sincere, from the bottom of my heart....Thank you very much. You have no idea what it means to me. Thank you and God bless.

I'm sorta surprised Ram didn't ask this question lol but the 17 in damaged cases......where they over and above the 400 we paid for or included in that amount? Like did you receive 417 CDs? If not, I certainly hope the 17 replacement cases came from MTM!

Bobfan........LMAO......a man of so few words but WHAMMO when he says them LMAO

Got my parcel today.....

They look great and I enjoyed listening to the whole of each song too..

I've read all the small print on the beautifully designed cover and it's a really professional job...

also nice to get the little card from Bubbles and Ulli...

I really appreciate my song getting on in the first place....delighted to have scraped in there...

all the songs on the CD sound loads better for listening all the way through...

Thanx to everyone who put their time in ...and thanx to all the supporters too...

I'll be trying my hand at a bit of publicity marketing...

Hey guys. I take no credit for any of this. :) You guys all made it possible - I just provided the venue. And I'm really glad it worked out! I'm looking forward to receiving my own package, which I'm hoping will get here soon.

Could someone forward me the cover of the CD in a .jpg or .gif format? I'd really appreciate it. I'm going to put a listing together for the CD for the Artist Spotlights at http://www.musesmuse...spotlights.html .

All the best,

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!! Got the CD today! Love it love it love it.
Looks great , the inserts, the graphics, the words, the design on the CD itself.
All fantastic and so professional.
The musicianship, writing, composition, performance and production skills of the Musers is truly amazing, incredibly so.
Man, you all have done well, your achievments, remarkable.
An absolute thrill to be amongst you and part of the first ever Musesmuse CD.
Like,..... WOW. Like,..... I'm blown away. Like YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!
Thanks.
Ram
p.s. It cost me 11 bucks to get them out of the post office due to customs formalities, duties, taxes and whatever.

"The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench,
a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs...
There's also a negative side."

I LOOOOOVVVVEEE THE GRAPHICS! They are SO major label professional that everyone should be proud to on this disc. I know that I am! *smile*
I wrote a press release at midnight and will submit it across the net for an hour tommorrow. I highly suggest each artist on the CD does the same! *wink*

best of luck!
