2005

From January to December of this year we?ll be taking the top two songs from each monthly competition and placing them in the 2005 Muse?s Muse Song of the year Contest...

The winning songs will compete in one final contest...

If there is a tie for second place in any of the monthly contests this year, or a three way tie for 1st... The tie breaker will be the song with the most first place votes, if the songs are still tied then it will go to most second place votes... if they are still tied then they mathematically have to have the same number of 3rd place votes... At which time all songs tied will move on to the final contest... If someone chooses to not have their song move on to the final competition for whatever reason, there will be no replacement.

However as of June 2005 we've had a change to the scoring system for the monthly competitions. If there is a tie it will now be broken by the highest score out of 5 received or the most occurrences there of by a contestant. If they are tied still it will then be broken by the next highest score or most occurences of and so on. If by chance they still remain tied both or all songs will move on.

The song that you enter into a monthly competition must be the same recording with no changes made for the final competition...

The top finishers can place their songs in this thread at the end of each monthly vote...

James

"TURN AND WALK AWAY"
Written/performed/produced by RLD

So many times you tried
Telling me what to think and see
And how much that you mean to me
But I aint listening...

Something just aint right
Can't figure out what its all about
Its not the same when you call my name
There's something missing...

I was a true believer
A long time ago

You build me up
I tear you down
Scatter pieces on the ground
I see black
You see white
Neither's wrong if we're both right
Nothing to say...
Turn and walk away

After all this time
We both know what's been said and done
And looking out for number one
Was so damn easy

With silence in your eyes
Its understood that it aint no good
To keep inside what you shouldn't hide
So please release me

I was a true believer
A long time ago

You build me up
I tear you down
Scatter pieces on the ground
I see black
You see white
Neither's wrong if we're both right
Nothing to say...
Turn and walk away

Only I

I sit alone and wait to die
Waiting for your..common sense to arrive
Talk me down and
help to keep me alive
I'm only faking

I know
Only I can make it happen
and I Know
only I can say i'm sorry

Sometimes don't it make you feel
like everyone ain't right?
Make believe, unseen things that
keep us warm at night

I watch you leave and wave goodbye
a different story, from the one I would write
Its got me down and
makes me think just why
we are breaking

I know
Only I can make it happen
and I Know
Only I can say i'm sorry

Sometimes don't it make you feel
like everyone ain't right?
Make believe, unseen things that
keep us warm at night

Its all the same to me
who you long to be

if theres a place everybodys gonna go to be happy
then I wanna get there first

if Theres a chance I could be the one to make it all happen
then I wanna get there first

Get It Over With

(Chorus)
Don?t break it to me gently, girl
When you tell me that we?re through
Get it over with, get it over with
So I can get over you

(Verses)
If you?re going to go, I guess I?d rather know
Baby, it?s better this way
Don?t think that you?re doing me a favor
By holding out another day

Get on with your leaving, I?ll get on with my grieving
And maybe I?ll find somebody new
Don?t want to waste another single precious moment
Crying over you

(Chorus)

(Bridge)
Don?t be saying we can still be friends
It?ll be over when it ends

(Chorus)
The forest would be silent if only the best birds sang.

A Single Summer
? 2005 Andrew Richardson

The butterfly and cricket so lightly dance and sing
Thier happy hearts will fill this world for but a single spring-
But walking through this Autumn park with thoughts of winter's snow
A part within me envies them for where they'll never go

Cos dont we all really only truly live a single summer?

It was like a miracle, A full solar eclipse
A beauty queen here in this town, my name upon her lips
Cheap red wine, days dancing, sunburned shoulders, holding tight
we wore that youth and confidence like diamonds in the night

and dont we all really only truly live a single summer?

Those magic days were like this bonfire as it starts to burn
As crackling sparks of summers leaves take flight and wont return
And I left for spain to go to school - she said shed do the same
But in the end her father stopped her and she never came

and dont we all really truly live a single summer?

That first love is a fragile thing and though we all pretend
That its the start of greater things it really is the end
For when those wings are broken in the autumns wind and rain
Like the summers dragonflies we'll never fly again

and dont we all really truly live a single summer?
and didnt we only really truly live that single summer?

Look At Your Life

Look at your life
Could you see it too
You could make something of it
Oh if you wanted to
Look at your life
And all those dreams that you had
You never followed through
Now that?s too bad

Don?t think that I?ll see you out on that road
For you it may be too heavy of a load

Look at your life
Is this really you
I know that you?ve tried before
And it was hard to do
Cause empty remorse
Always greeted you
The plain can be simple
Now how that hold true

Still I don?t think I?ll see you out on that road
Because you?re thinking it?s too heavy of a load
But no no no no

Look at your life
Has it always been this way
Never grabbing the future
Just taking it day by day
What about the things that you?ve dreamed of
All messin? round in your head
You?ve gotta do something man
Cause the spirit?s dead

So many things that you can find while you are out on that road
And that?s the place you will find the antidote
Ohhhhhhhhh so you can
Pick up your life
And see that skies are blue
The plain can be simple oh
Now how that holds true
Look at your life
Oh look at your
Look at your life
Oh look at your life
Look at your life.

Promises

Something in your eyes
makes a grown man cry
and forgive you
But I realise
silence is a lie
leading to grief

Chorus:

And you know that it's true
the things that you do make me drop to my knees
there in the dark you play with my heart
when all you need is to keep
those promises please

So you like to show
that you can't resist
guilty pleasures
I just never know
how to raise my fist
Even though everyone knows that its true
the things that you do...(chorus)

Looking for some things to tear apart
you were hungry for a heart
from the very start

You know that it's true
the things that you do
make me drop to my knees
There in the dark
you play with my heart
When all you need is to keep
Those promises please

Handful Of Dust
Lyrics : Kevin Tinbergen - Dave Adam / Music : Dave Adam ?2005

(V1)
I was walking down the shore
Like we used to do before
But the cold tide didn't hold any answers

(V2)
Cemetary late at night
Only silence from your grave
There's nothing to learn from the stone bearing your name

(Rise)
And I curse the day you left me here
With my hopes, my questions and my fears
All the things you never handed down to me

(CH)
Father, I know it's not your fault
The good Lord can betray
Just know I cherished the time
We spent before you passed away
Still your death has left me..
With a handful of dust.. Just a handful of dust

(V3)
My own son is turning three
Bouncing gently upon my knee
Wonder if the outcome will be the same this time

(Rise)
Would he curse the day I left him here
With his hopes, his questions and his fears
All the things I never handed down to him

(CH)

(Bridge)
From father to son
For what's left undone
For the blood that is boiling in my veins
From son to father
I wrote this prayer
To relieve my soul from this burning pain
There's nothing to forgive
Nothing to retrieve
All the scars I carry will remain

(CH)

Welcome to the Country
Copyright 2005 by Jeremy Maynard & Dena Porras

V1:
Pack up my guitar and I head on out the door
Hop in my pickup, put the pedal to the floor
Two hours on the open road finally crossing I65
Looking out my window, I can see a billboard sign
It says . . .

C1:
Welcome to the country
Let your spirit free to roam
Every heart will find a home
Welcome to the country life
Where the people know every flower has a chance to grow
Welcome to the end of every road

V2:
Blow out a tire so I pull of to the side
Cowboy in a Chevrolet stops to offer me a ride
Drivin' on he glances over says, 'I know I've seen you before'
I just smile and nod my head as I turn up the radio
Playin . . .

C2:
Welcome to the country
Let your spirit free to roam
Every heart will find a home
Welcome to the country life
Where the people know every stream will be a river flow
Welcome to the end of every road

B:
Pull up to the backdoor and I step out to the curb
Two hundred shows a year and I still can't find my nerve
Hiking up these long stairs I can hear the curtain swing
Walk out to center stage where I stop as my fans all scream

C3:
Welcome to the country
Let your spirit free to roam
Every heart will find a home
Welcome to the country life
Where the people love that country music on the radio
Welcome to the end of every road
The real music in my life plays like two wailing kids accompanied by the clang of an ol' rundown minivan and the resonance of breath sounds thru my "other" headphones.

Only A Rose
Copyright February 25, 2005 Stan Loh. Singer JoAnna McCormick

VERSE 1
Only a rose, only a rose,
Can fulfill your restless heart, do you suppose?
When will wand?ring ways give in to heaven,
And the drifting soul be satisfied.
Give it up! Give it up! You butterfly,
Surrender your black book to some other guy?

VERSE 2
Only a rose will find a way,
She will sing a thousand times on preacher?s day,
She will beg for guidance from the book of dawn,
But you smile and fend her off with spiny thorns,
Settle down, settle down! Unbuckle your heart,
And demolish your chilled fa?ade.

VERSE 3
Only a rose, only a rose,
Can reveal the core of your special pose,
Cause the blood you draw is crimson red,
And the scar that?s left is stone cold dead,
Give it up! Give it up! You cry out loud,
You don?t want to be told what love?s about.
Give it up! Give it up! You cry out loud,
You don?t want to know what love?s about.

At The Borderline
? 2005 LMK

Oh my oh my
something's gonna move you, something's gonna seem like love
Oh my oh my, something deep inside you
feels like you've felt enough

When the night is over
thoughts of regret fill your mind
We're always wasting our time
at the borderline

Stuck in the mud
fighting for an answer, as you call up to the sky
Wait for the flood if you want the answer
to where your demons lie

When the night is over
thoughts of regret fill your mind
We're always wasting our time
at the borderline

Killing countless moments while you're holding back
Afraid to take a step towards the world that could affect you
There's a slice of heaven, above our heads in the clouds

Knee deep in doubts
All we know for sure is nothing's simply black or white
Whispers and shouts, life's a million choices
Living wont let you hide

When the night is over, thoughts of regret fill your mind
We're always wasting our time at the borderline

Counter melody:
We hesitate again
Almost made it
But we waited
at the borderline

Rain

Lyrics : K. Tinbergen / D. Adam

? EGODRIVERMUSIC

(V1)
Stormy eyes pierce me under windswept skies
Our whispered truths turn to shouted lies
Paper thin alibis are all we have to share
Cuz when it comes to honesty we see no point in being fair

(Rise)
And my tears all fall down with the rain
The life I once had will never be the same

(CH)
So rain on me
Wash away the sorrow
Clean all that useless
Pain in me
Done trying to follow
What you expected from me

(V2)
Outside your apartment drenched to the skin
Overwhelmed from the break up about to begin
Would have said something but the words got stuck
Even the lucky one day run out of luck

(Rise)
And my tears all fall down with the rain
The life I once had will never be the same

(CH)
So rain on me
Wash away the sorrow
Clean all that useless
Pain in me
Done trying to follow
What you expected from ...

(Bridge)
... Someone that I'm not
what you want me to be
A pale shade of myself
Down on my knees
And I'm walking away
For my own sake
Before your selfishness
Bends love into hate
I'll swallow the pain
Drink to the dregs
I could come back again
But I'm too proud to beg
I'm too proud to beg ...

Butterfly's Dream
(words & music by Thomas Itty)

Am I dreaming
Or is this reality
Am I flesh and blood
Is this really me
Look into the mirror
What do I see
Just another stranger
Longing to be fee

But do I see the butterfly
Or am I just
A butterfly?s dream

There is a feeling
That I have inside
It makes me feel happy
Just to be alive
I can feel love
I can feel pain
I can see the sunshine
I can feel the rain

But do I see the butterfly
Or am I just
A butterfly?s dream
Butterfly?s dream

(solo)

I?ve seen the bad
And I?ve seen the good
I?ve been forsaken
I?ve been misunderstood
I?ve been loved
And I?ve been hated
I?ve been lost
And I?ve been overated

But do I see the butterfly
Or am I just
A butterfly?s dream

Butterfly?s dream
Butterfly?s dream
Butterfly?s dream
Butterfly?s dream
Butterfly?s dream
Butterfly?s dream
Butterfly?s dream
Butterfly?s dream

The Cost

by RLD, Fabkebab & Jaymz

Is it in the choke of that first cigarette?
Sneering at the good kids from the bike sheds in the wet
Breaking glass in empty buildings haunted by regret
At what point is it lost?

Is it in the thrill of that first real fight?
Knuckles in the stomach of the boy that cries at night
Bloody mouths and cold sweat mixed in rivers of delight
At what point is it lost?

Is innocence worth anything?
Does it have a cost?
Is a life worth less without it?
At what point is it lost?

Is it when the discovery begins?
The hungry blood of adolescence running through our skin
Watching girls in summer blouses aching to get in
At what point is it lost?

Is innocence worth anything?
Does it have a cost?
Is a life worth less without it?
At what point is it lost?

Tell me when is our innocence gone?
When is it spent?
Leaving our souls feeling like slept in clothes
Wondering where it all went
At what point is it lost?

Shadows

? 2005 LMK

There's a million dreams that I lost, that I lost
And with every win, comes a cost, there's a cost
But I wont give up,
Time to move away from the past
Wont allow the darkness to last

Chorus:
And I dont mind changes now
In or out, With or without
You might as well overcome
Shadows your mind thought had won

Hiding from the world that I knew, that I knew
All the colours changed, became blue
but it's true that I hold the key

Need to take contol, take a stand
so I'm taking fate by the hand

Chorus + solo

So deep in despair that I prayed and I prayed
summertime would open the gate
I still wait for those brighter days

As for the reflection i see
I know it's my sole enemy

And I dont mind changes now
In or out, With or without
You might as well overcome
Shadows your mind thought had won

I COULD HAVE BEEN THAT GUY
? 2005 Andrew Richardson

I'm sitting in this room
Pushed up on the shelf
Music playing gently
Feeling sorry for myself
While somewhere out of view
A different night unfolds
In another part of town
For the boy who got the crown
And the beautiful girl that he holds

ch.

And I could have been that guy
Yearning for so long, never really tried
never let her know- always felt so shy
Longed to let her know
And if I had maybe I
Could have been that guy

V2/

Room feels far to big
Yellow city lights
filters through the curtains
On this winter night
but somewhere out of view
a passion lights the cold
In another part of town
For the guy who got the crown
And the beautiful girl that he holds

Ch.

And I could have been that guy
Yearning for so long, never really tried
never let her know- always felt so shy
Longed to let her know
And if I had maybe I
Could have been that guy

Another Way
? 2005 LMK

I want to get away, stay there for a day or two
You only bring me down and I know I can't be with you

Nothing lasts forever, there's no now or never
soon there'll be another day
Someone lets you down, a heart is hard to find
but love will find another way

Outside of comfort zones
Moving on is hard to do
But when things break your heart
you can't let 'em stay with you

Nothing lasts forever, there's no now or never
soon there'll be another day
Someone lets you down, a heart is hard to find
but love will find another way

Some people dont see the stop signs at all
They hold on to first impressions as they hit the wall
But what good is love at first sight
when day turns into night?

I want to get away from a dream that had to end
Just need some time alone, time to wonder where it went

Nothing lasts forever, there's no now or never
soon there'll be another day
Someone lets you down, a heart is hard to find
but love will find another way

?Indigo?
Capers Simmons

VERSE I
Once upon a time
There was a man?born blind.
He lived his life in darkness all around.
He took a painter for a wife
And he asked her, late one night
?Can you tell me how the colors feel and sound?

PRECHORUS I
Do they make you think of music,
Or the scent of my cologne?
Is there any way a blind man
Can sense the colors that you know?

CHORUS I
Does the rainbow taste like birthday cake
Does green smell like the sea?
Does yellow sound like a merry-go-round
Or a church bell as it rings?
And I have to know if indigo is hot or cold inside.
Do I have to ask an angel what blue feels like??

VERSE II
She gently pulled him close
And whispered to him, ?No, you don?t?
They?re everything you dream of late at night.
Darling, I will be your eyes.
I will hold your hands and guide.?
And she did not leave his side until she died.

PRECHORUS II
She left her laughter there, like music,
Her perfume in his nose
He prayed for sight, for one more night
He prayed for indigo.

CHORUS II
?Does heartbreak taste like sour grapes?
Does pain smell like decay?
Does sorrow sound like the rain come down,
Or thunder far away?
Is loneliness like broken glass that cuts you deep inside?
Do you have to lose an angel to know what blue feels like??

BRIDGE
It feels like snow: so deep, so cold.
It weighs you down, it makes no sound, but still you know
That you can?t breathe, and you can?t break free.
When you miss your chance, it?s the avalanche you?re underneath.

PREHORUS II
He bought back all her paintings
And found the ones she hadn?t sold.
He ran his hands across the canvas,
Felt indigo.

CHORUS III
?Does white taste like a kiss goodnight,
And gray a kiss goodbye?
Does red smell like a valentine?
Is it the crimson that makes me cry?
O Lord, please show me indigo, ?cause heaven knows I?ve tried
And I?m waiting on an angel of God to open up my eyes.
I can let go, ?cause now I know what blue feels like

"TONIGHT"
Written/performed/produced by RLD

Hey now, I waited 'round for you
Hey now, I'm needing something new
Hey now, why does nothing seem to change?
Hey now, it's time to rearrange

Almost ready,
Yeah I'm ready for tonight
Won't be shaken
I've been waiting
I'm on my way...

Tonight I lose my head
Paint everybody red
Don't give a damn what's said
Tonight...
For all the world to see
Be what I want to be
Because I'm breaking free tonight
I can't wait for tonight...

Hey now, awaken from your dream
Hey now, it feels so good to scream
Hey now, scrape away your past
Hey now, today could be your last

Are you ready?
Cause I'm ready for tonight
It's been coming
No more running
I'm on my way...

Tonight I lose my head
Paint everybody red
Don't give a damn what's said
Tonight...
For all the world to see
Be what I want to be
Because I'm breaking free tonight
I can't wait for tonight...

Tonight I climb the wall
That?s built around us all
Confront the fear that you can't see
Let loose the animal in me
Falling into the looking glass
Destroy, rebuild the futures past
Until illusions fade away...

Tonight I lose my head
Paint everybody red
Don't give a damn what's said
Tonight...
For all the world to see
Be what I want to be
Because I'm breaking free tonight
I can't wait for tonight

"IT'S YOU"
Written/performed/produced by RLD

On days like this, I don't know...
I just feel like letting go
Since you went away
With darkness instead of dawn
No reason to carry on
Since you've been away

How much longer?
I wish I was stronger...like you

The reason I'm living this way
The sunshine on my rainy day
Is gone and I can't find my way
Cause it's you
Who kept me from losing it all
When my back was up to the wall
Without you I'm just gonna fall...

In dreams where I'm wide awake
I run but there's no escape...
I'm wasting away

How much longer?
I wish I was stronger...like you

The reason I'm living this way
The sunshine on my rainy day
Is gone and I can't find my way
Cause it's you
Who kept me from losing it all
When my back was up to the wall
Without you I'm just gonna fall...

It's another lonely night
Just think I need to get away
Not sure if I wanna stay to fight...

Cause it's you
The reason I'm living this way
The sunshine on my rainy day
Is gone and I can't find my way
Cause it's you
Who kept me from losing it all
When my back was up to the wall
Without you I'm just gonna fall...

The One That Got Away
(M.Clavette, SilkyTofu, J.Thorogood)

Snagged a prized catch named Joy
Back when I was a boy
Where the deep river weaves
Through bent willow bows
Over crisp copper leaves
Under cinnamon trees
The one that got away....

She pulled me into her world
Of Fast Cars, Caviar & Pearls
It?s a far away cry
From owls in the woods
Soaring sycamore high
An I ask myself why
The one that got away

Going for a trophy of a life time
I can?t breathe in her world
She can?t breathe in mine
Hook, line and sinker
I am drowning in the tide
But I?ll survive to say goodbye

On the runway she glides
Super-blue model eyes
But the girl next door
Has grown into more
With her platinum CD
And the Maseratti
The one that got away

Going for a trophy of a life time
I can?t breathe in her world
She can?t breathe in mine
Hook, line and sinker
I am drowning in the tide
But I?ll survive to say goodbye

"LOOK IN MY DIRECTION"
Written, performed, produced by RLD

A faded photograph
a melancholy day
a story without end
and so much more to say

You feel a breath upon your ear
Whisper words you long to hear

If your journey seems a bit too far
And while looking for perfection
You find out who you are
When its all too much to bear
Take a look in my direction
A look in my direction, I'll be there

There's something in the air
That you just can't deny
And we both understood
About a love that never dies

If you're scared and cannot speak
I'll steal a kiss upon your cheek

If the journey seems a bit too far
And while looking for perfection
You find out who you are
If its all too much to bear
Take a look in my direction
A look in my direction, I'll be there

All mysteries revealed
With nothing to conceal
The door is open, I know you'll find a way
Keep holding on, and being strong today

Jodi
(Written and Produced by J.Thorogood)
(Performed by The Cohorts)

Jodi walks my way every day
My eyes follow her until she fades
She bends my notes, makes 'em scream
My mind sets to making her scene
Jodi.... walks...

The old man and I wager on what she'll wear
Don't matter your stature you just stop and stare
He sat me down.... said listen here Jay...
Don't tell your Mom....

Jodi walks my way every day
My eyes follow her until she fades
She bends my notes, makes 'em scream
My mind sets to making her scene
Jodi.... walks...

You might feel that you'll resist her all alone
All fall to the skill that Jodi owns
Call out the guards...bring on the forces...
We'll stand the charge

Jodi walks our way every day
Our eyes follow her until she fades
She bends our notes, makes 'em scream
Our mind sets to making her scene
Jodi walks....

You may wonder how I got to know her name
I dug through her trash and you'd have done the same
I was obsessed it smacked hard on the brain
At least I admit I did, And you'd have done the same

oooooooo yaaaa!!
oooooooo yaaaa!!
oooooooo yaaaa!!

Jodi walks my way I watch her fade

"SORRY"
Written, performed, produced by RLD

You laid it on the line
What a perfect time to end it all
Walk away
Live to love another day

And it wasn't a surprise
That you can't take it anymore
You're outta here
Close the book, slam the door

So long, thought I saw you smile
So long...was it good?
Well I really don't remember...

There to catch you when you fall
With your back against the wall
Didn't you want it all
Well I'm sorry...

Guess that it was all for show
While I watched from the front row
I thank you even though
I'm sorry...

No you're not misunderstood
Only wish I could have counted on
You to be something that
Meant to me

We started quite a fire
Then just stood back to watch it burn
Teaching me something that
I had to learn

So long, thought I saw you smile
So long...was it good?
Well I really don't remember...

There to catch you when you fall
With your back against the wall
Didn't you want it all
Well I'm sorry...

Guess that it was all for show
While I watched from the front row
I thank you even though
I'm sorry...

The 2005 Song of The Year Contest will run as follows:

The 23 songs will be split into three groups initially.

January - April / Group A
May - August / Group B
September - December / Group C

Each groups voting will be split into three day voting periods.

Group A will run from Sunday Dec 18th to Tuesday Dec 20th
Group B will go from Wednesday Dec 21st to Dec Friday Dec 23rd
Group C will run from Monday Dec 26 to Wednesday Dec 28th

Voters will send in their top three picks for each group.

A song will score 5 pts for a 1st place pick, 3 pts for a 2nd place pick and 1 pt for a third place pick.

The top 2 songs from each group will move on to the finals which will be held From December 29th to January 2nd. In the final round of six, Voters will once again send in their top 3 picks with the same scoring format being used. If there is a tie in any of the group votes, the tie will be broken by a count back. The song with the most 1st place votes will move on, if that doesn?t split the tie then the most 2nd place votes. If it is still tied after a count back a tie breaker vote will be solicited.

Nobody who has a song in in the comp in any group will be eligible to vote. Any of these members who don?t have songs left in the final round of six will then be able to vote at that time if they choose.

Also you must have signed up as a member of Muses Muse no later then December 1st 2005 and have at least 25 posts to be eligible to vote.

You can hear the songs now if you wish at this link: 2005 Song Of The Year Contest

Another post will be coming in an hour or so with a few more details...

Here is a breakdown of the voting schedule and when, how and who to send your picks to.

Because some may be going on holidays, you can send your picks for any group in earlier (starting now) or later then the dates specified as long as they come in before or on Dec 28th.

However to make things easier, if you will be around, please send your votes in on the dates specified with your messages marked Group A Votes, Group B Votes etc. It?ll help Nige and I to keep a little better organized and both of us will be sending MysteryMike an Archive of the votes in each section to verify the count thru the boards archive message feature.

A reminder, Nobody who has a song in the contest now will be allowed to vote in any of the initial three group votes. So the following people are not eligible to vote: RLD, Monktrump, Neal K, fabkebab, LMK, Tony Graham, dougmaverick, ktinberg, venusdelite, Lanqusaya2, thomasitty, Jaymz, SilkyTofu & skido85.

If you are voting, please vote for the top 3 songs in each category. Some members have multiple entries in a group. Please still vote for what you feel are the best songs in each group. In other words, don?t spread your picks around to be nice. Just pick what you feel are the best songs regardless of who entered it and how many entries they have.

Voting update 1

7 votes in so far. Every song has scored points. Two songs have made a bit of a breakaway but I sense it?s early days yet.

Voting Update 2

I have received 11 votes so far. At this stage there seems to be 3 main players, but I would be a brave man if I wrote off any song at this point. I will say that every song has received at least one top vote, so that should give you an idea that this really is clash of the giants.

Voting Update 3

I have now received 18 votes. Since my last update the top 3 have shuffled and there is now a new leader. There are just 4 points between 1st and 3rd, that?s how close it is. I am pretty sure now that the winner will be one of these 3. You still have a couple of days to get your vote in if you haven?t already done so.
