CD REVIEW: Kitra – “Not Just Lucky”
By Stacey Board - 03/26/2004 - 05:37 PM EST

Artist: Kitra
Album: “Not Just Lucky”
CD Review: This is dance pop from someone who could be the next ‘Miss Thang”. She sings better than most of her competition, a la Britney, J Lo, etc. Kitra definitely brings the singing chops to the table. It's definitely better than anything Madonna has put out in the past 10 years. Kitra is also pretty and looks about 17 so you shouldn’t be surprised to see and hear a lot more of her in the future.

I brought those other singers up only to give you a sense of the production values used on these songs. They are highly produced, looped and programmed. Kitra herself co-wrote each of the songs along with mainly J. Picot.

If you are a fan of Christina Aguilera and soul/pop dance tunes, you will love this CD and will be able to impress your friends by being the first to know about Kitra.
