Artist: Juliette Esper Album: "Revival" CD Review: Genre: Jazz Sounds Like: ? Technical Grade: 7 Production/Musicianship Grade: 7 Commercial Value: 7 Overall Talent Level: 7 Songwriting Skills: Covers Performance Skill: 7 Best Songs: Lover Man (Oh Where Can You Be), Cry Me A River Weakness: Weak interpretation skills. CD Review: Jazz has always been a "live" format. The recordings that are made of live Jazz performances are really just keepsakes for the fans who love the music or the musicians who play it. Juliette Esper who sent me a package all the way from Dublin, Ireland, is an above average vocalist who displays a lot of personality and vocal agility in her performance. She does well with the slower songs on this CD, but when it comes to a timeless classic like "Fly Me To The Moon," she appears to be a little out of her league. Advice: Find a jazz music producer to create some orginal songs that will cater to the strengths and uniqueness of your voice.
