CD Review: I met G O, who is an Oakland based rap producer at CLA's 2002 Music Business Seminar. I found him to be instantly likeable, but I can't say the same thing about his demo. Because I represent an outstanding music producer, I am intimately aware of the difficulty that producers face when it comes to finding talent who can do "justice" to their productions. What would Timabland be without Missy Elliott, Aaliyah, or Ginuwine? If G O was not fortunate enough to find talent of that caliber, the songs "Ryde 2Nite" and "Get Yo Club On" would receive higher scores.
Advice: Find more talented artists to demo your material.
